2026 January 22nd, Hangzhou, China – Geely Holding Group (“Geely Holding”) released its five-year strategic blueprint “One Geely, Leading through Innovation and Integration” for 2030. Under the plan, Geely Holding aims to strengthen top-level coordination and global collaboration, build a strategic capability system, become a leader among global automakers, and pioneer high-quality globalization for Chinese enterprises.
Geely Holding Group also announced its key targets for 2030: to achieve global sales exceeding 6.5 million vehicles (passenger cars + commercial vehicles), revenue exceeding 1 trillion RMB, ranking among the top five global automakers in sales, reached a new energy vehicle penetration rate of 75%, sales outside of China accounting for more than one-third of the Group’s annual total, and develop world-class new energy architectures covering A- to E-class models that reduces the average R&D cycle and overall cost per model by over 30%.
In 2026, Geely will celebrate its 40th anniversary and enter a new stage of development. The next five years will be crucial for Geely Holding Group to achieve three major strategic goals: transition from product manufacturing competitiveness to ecosystem service competitiveness, from competitiveness based on scale and cost to green and intelligent technology, and from independent operation of each brand to deep global collaboration.

In 2025, Geely Holding focused on its core businesses, demonstrated strong resilience and stable development: total sales reached 4.116 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 26%, and achieved five consecutive years growth. Sales of new energy vehicles reached 2.293 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 58%, with a new energy vehicle penetration rate of 56%. Geely Holding will focus on “strengthening the “Geely” corporate brand,” while building a global brand matrix of its portfolio brands with clear positioning, distinctiveness, and mutual empowerment. Geely Holding will fully leverage the brand advantages of Geely Auto, Geely Galaxy, Lynk & Co, and Zeekr, giving full play to their “home advantage” and access to localized operational capabilities of global brands such as Volvo, Polestar, and Lotus in the European and American markets. Building Leading Product Competitiveness with a “Seven-Dimension” Technology Ecosystem and Consolidating Global Leadership in Safety
Geely Holding will continue to enhance the competitiveness of its “Seven Dimension” technology ecosystem, centered on intelligent driving, intelligent cockpit, E/E architecture, vehicle architecture, battery, electric drive, and super hybrid powertrains as well as further strengthen its leading position in safety in the era of electrification and intelligence. In intelligent driving, the “G-Pilot” platform will be developed into the world’s most advanced intelligent driving technology platform, achieving full coverage of L2-level assisted driving, rapidly advancing L3 pilots, and accelerating the commercialization of L4 capabilities and Robotaxi operations. Integrated with intelligent cockpits and supported by AGI and Agent technologies, the AIOS operating system will transform vehicles into super-intelligent products. Geely’s Super Hybrid technology advances the development of new fuels and new combustion technologies. The thermal efficiency of the new NordThor AI hybrid engine is expected to exceed 50%. The SEA super hybrid system is evolving towards ultra-high power, ultra-high performance, and ultra-high safety, setting the trend for the global development of luxury hybrid technology.

Geely’s future mobility ecosystem will accelerate the development of an integrated space-air-ground future mobility ecosystem jointly built by Geely Auto, Qianli Technology, Cao Cao Mobility, Aerofugia, and Geespace. By 2030, Geely Holding will have initially established an integrated air-ground mobility service capability covering major cities in China and deployed 100,000 fully customized Cao Cao Mobility Robotaxi vehicles with plans for global commercial operation in the future.
Through the methanol-hydrogen electric vehicle ecosystem, Geely has built up its competitive advantage across the entire industrial chain, covering methanol production, transportation, refueling, and vehicle manufacturing. Over 50,000 methanol-hydrogen hybrid electric vehicles are in operation, accumulating over 23 billion kilometers of driving. Geely has received over 400 core patents for methanol-hydrogen technologies. In the future, Geely will increase the application and promotion of methanol-hydrogen electric technology in automobiles, ships, mining machinery, construction machinery, generator, and other fields, and accelerate the construction of methanol fueling networks in key regions and logistics routes.
